It’s been over 2 years now since Detroit Ché dropped her short Ep, Chénges and even with it being an older project she breathes new life into it with the video release to ROOT the video takes place on what looks to be a plantation and seems to touch on slavery due to the shackles displayed on her self and one of the actors, there is definitely some deep imagery here to go along with the music and it’s message check out the full video below.
If you have yet to check out the full project I highly recommend you give it a listen the four song Ep is worth it as each song plays off each other and makes for a great listening experience.
