2022 has seen some dope projects be released some so early in the year you might have forgotten they came out this year so are our top 10 we think that deserve a repeat listen.

10 PEEZY / ONLY BUILT 4 DIAMOND LINKS

When Peezy released Only Built 4 Diamond Links back in August it was met with a bit of a mixed reception some fans praised it others didn’t take to the somewhat new sound Peezy was attempting to go in but nothing truly new comes without experimentation and that’s why I feel for those who didn’t like this album to give it a second chance there are some real gems to be found on this no pun intended because like most new tings I feel it can grow on you.

9 ICEWEAR VEZZO / RICH OF PINTS 3

STILL HEAT.

Vezzo is known for pumping out bangers his style is really all his own and Rich Off Pints 3 carries all the things that make him stand out so well so when the project came out it just confirmed why he’s one the best from Detroit and while he had some amazing features like Lil Baby, G Herbo and more he really didn’t need them to make this album great.

8 TAY B / 4 EVA IN MY BAG

uNderated

As Popping as Tay B is often I feel he’s still a bit underrated. Since his beginnings he’s always been a very dope rapper everything about him is beyond my standards when it comes to a dope artist and that’s why I feel his 2022 Album 4 Eva In My Bag is worth a repeat listen because he truly in my eyes is one of the most slept on yet best artist in the city.

7 FMB DZ / BACK ON TRACK

Forgotten

Fmb Dz seems to be in a tough spot while he was damn near dominating in 2017-18 some feel he had a bit of a fall off, Dz Himself even felt like he had to get back on Track which is what inspired the name of this project.

6 MOLLY BRAZY / 17 MOLLY

No Push

This was a very solid project the only thing it lacked was some promo with Molly herself being locked out of her Instagram during its release thus it felt short and on mostly deaf ears but like I said it’s still a really dope project that more people should have heard but sadly didn’t.

5 SADA BABY/ BARTIER BOUNTY 3

DOUBLE FEATURE

Sada Baby is one of those artists who put out so much music sometimes it can be hard to keep track Bartier Bounty 3 is one I myself missed on release but glad I eventually did get around to giving it a listen it’s solid.

4 SHITTYBOYZ / TRIFECTA 2

3 TIMES

These 3 have been going hard since they came out if I had to pick a favorite it’s between Trdee and Baby Tron, but all three went crazy on Trifecta 2 mostly on the songs Video Games and Senzu Bean.

3 BANDGANG MASOE / 886

Gods Boy

Bandgang Masoe is always drifting in and out of his music career at times it seems but when he does drop something new for the fans its always good to hear from him 886 had a refreshing but familiar feel to it that made me go back to it often.

2 BABY SMOOVE / IM STILL SERIOUS 2

Franchise

As someone who feels like an outsider Baby Smoove still manages to be one of the best artists Detroit has to offer almost everything he drops instantly goes viral and I’m Still Serious 2 has the same potential.

1 BABYFACE RAY / FACE

New era

With this album being number one its important to mention that this list is not in any particular order though if it was this album might still be in the number one spot because it was hands down the best project of the year Babyface Ray showed a different side of him on this album and it was crazy to see how much he grew as an artist in just this year alone.
