Baby Smoove drops his 5th project of the year “Baby” following his last and most recent project “Purple Rain” Smoove had a midnight release and of course we stayed up to check it out as always the intro track is what we usually use to Gage how the rest of the project will sound but surprisingly track one “Pink Monty” doesn’t sound like much else it might be too early to say but its defiantly the best song on this project as from this point on most of the album gets a bit repetitive there’s honestly not much variety on this tape with most of the songs having the same formula the beats are very chill like yet have very banging 808s and kicks while Smoove raps in a raspy whisper of a voice.

Though that description might sound bad there are a few gems on this project for one the aforementioned “Pink Monty” as well as the track “Off White Apparel” Baby Smoove really takes Whisper Rap to a whole new level on this track but with such a dope beat behind it, it works its one of those records you wouldn’t expect to like until you realize that you do then there’s “Triple Double” probably the only track with a bit of melody added to it for that I found myself vibing with this one more, to sum of this project while it is worth a listen there are a few tracks you will find your self skipping at least I did let us know your thoughts scroll to top to see rating and if you agree.
