Roddy Ricch just dropped his newest project Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial and its safe to say expectations were high and as a new fan of the artist after hearing him on Mustards Ballin I’ve been checking out his whole catalog and since then was excited to see he announced this new piece of work so now that its here I was eager to dive in the intro to this album kicks things off on a personal note for Roddy “Intro” starts off slow and emotional as the piano bleeds in the background only for the beat to drop and switch up the whole mood of the song giving a more abrasive tone to it its one of those songs reminiscent of Meek Mills Dreams and Nightmares a slow emotional build only for the beat to drop and dramatically change the vibe of the song its very dope.

Roddy gets real creative on this album for instance on the record “The Box” you can hear he uses his voice as a instrument in the background that beeping you hear yeah that’s Roddy this trick is something not uncommon as artist like Young Thug and Future has done it before your first listen you wouldn’t notice until you listen for the second time and catch it he blends his voice in with the beat so well on top of that the song is one of the best on this project the beat is phenomenal it feels like the sound track to a high budget action film it so cinematic and yes it’s that good you might find your self hitting replay often on this one.

The feature list isn’t too long Roddy secures just enough talent to not over crowed his project “Tip Toe” featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is probably the best guest record on the album they both sound good together on this song, this whole project definitely lived up to what I’d hoped it sound like it has its raw and usual rap life style records mixed in with some stuff for the ladies and just as he started the album he ends it on a personal note with “War Baby” the best thing about this song is probably the choir in the background who are eventually brought to the forefront to sing the hook it felt peaceful, wrapping things up I was highly pleased with this album and you will be too for the full rating check the top of the page.
