It’s not surprising that Feeq is an artist who’s raw and real with himself and his album Legends Never Die (Rip J-man), emphasizes that same sentiment given how passionate and humble his music tends to be most of the time. However, this brief EP does have some moments of uncertainty and sorrow, such as on the outro record “Who Baby Is It?” When Feeq sings, “Slipped up and hit you raw, shouldn’t got you pregnant,” he wonders if it’s his and wishes he’d never gotten this mystery woman pregnant. The majority of this project seems to be full of past memories of the good old days but also looking forward to a bright future. The song “Manifest” stands out as an obvious example of this. With its overall tone and quality, this album definitely caught me off, guard. I’m eager to hear more from Feeq because of how impressive he has been thus far.
