While Tayy Dior’s presence in Detroit rap is undoubtedly felt, she recently stated on her Instagram that she is not slept on but rather underestimated, which I thought was a valid point because she is frequently mentioned in every conversation I’ve had with people referring to who is the dopest female artist in Detroit, so clearly what she is lacking is not recognition but rather perhaps a lack of understanding. she recently drop her record You Got It with another new artist Intuwiish and this song is further proof that she most certainly has the talent needed to thrive in this business so what is she missing?

In some instances, Detroit can be a hate-filled city where some residents may not want others to succeed. In some circumstances, that’s just the culture of this city, but does Tayy Dior suffer from that? I don’t think so, but I do believe that she might benefit from additional promotion, exposure to the correct audiences, and consistency. The road ahead for her is difficult, but with what she has already accomplished, she could just have a chance. I am eagerly anticipating Tayy Dior’s future, and you should be too.
